  I attended a graveside service at Lakeview today. I was shocked at the way their burial staff handled the interment. The backhoe drove up to the graveside before the preacher had finished and four of the workers stood and paced around the canopy during the final prayer. The family had barely stepped out from under the canopy before they started taking it down. The immediate family was saying their final goodbyes and the men started putting the casket into the vault. I found this to be very disrespectful to the family. For as much as they charge a grieving family, they should at least have the respect to give the family time to say goodbye and leave the area before they begin this step.

  The staff is wonderful. They are so caring and considerate. They went out of their way to help my family through this difficult time. The facility was very nice with a comfortable setting.

  My wife's great-grandmother (100 years old) had passed away January of 2013. Her funeral services were held at Lakeview Funeral Home because her husband's services were held there previously. The funeral home was a huge disappointment. The funeral home staff had little to no visibilty. There were no friendly staff to the visitors to welcome vistors in. It seemed as if the building was rented to the family and had the family of the departed welcome and escort the visitors to their seats. My impression of the facility was outdated and in poor condition. I would not suggest this funeral home to anyone. The entire family commented on how poor the funeral home appeared and presented itself. Very disappointed! Lakeview Funeral Home should be ashamed of their business.
