  • Although the church was big, it had a homey atmosphere and no one seemed to be left out at anytime! I had such wonderful time! You can tell people truly love the Lord and want to serve Good!

This isn't a church. This is a place where they expect you and everyone in the world to dress like they are going to funeral when attending this church. They pick up your kids or any kids to be specific at any given time to go with them with out even letting the parents know. Oh and while parents are having a heart attack trying to locate their children, the people attending the church and the staff will literally keep you hostage. For example, a woman had a new born who was starting to fussy or upset, so as any mother does she takes the child to the lobby to calm her down. Well, the staff demanded her to leave the child in daycare and go back inside. She refused and they didn't let her leave the building. They literally lock the doors people. And also anyone they have attend there, they have them quickly or kinda force them to get baptized even if they don't understand the meaning. So, you have kids saying "I got saved" at 5 years old and they only know that they get dunked in water. So, with parents freaking out, hostages that are stuck tip the end of the services (regardless) , and basically brainwashing makes this not a church. So, from what I am getting here is that this place is a cult.

  • Great church, very friendly and preaches truth. Grandaughter came from camp where Pastor Gray had preached last two years, and you could really tell after camp that the Lord did a work in her heart. What a great blessing to see this. We're so thankful!

  • Truly a friendly and Christ honoring church. The Preaching is HOT, yet super practical for our day-to-day living. A place where God's Word (KJV-ONLY) is the central focus of every service and ministry. It's also a place where people will leave knowing they were sincerely loved. My family and I thank God for Pastor Bob Gray II and the Longview Baptist Church family. That's what it is, a family.
